The app collects no personal information, contains no ads, includes no third-party tracking, and requires no internet connection. There are no chat features, no social features, and no links to external websites in child-facing screens. All generated stories pass through a content safety filter that checks for age-appropriate language and structure. Parent-only settings are protected behind a 4-digit PIN.

DynaStory is designed for children ages 3 to 11. The app offers three age-adapted experiences:

Ages 3-5: Larger text, bigger buttons, slower narration, and simpler stories.
Ages 6-8: A balanced reading and listening experience with moderate story complexity.
Ages 9-11: Richer vocabulary, more nuanced stories, and a reading-focused experience.

Text size, narration speed, and story content all adjust automatically based on the selected age group.

DynaStory includes a curated library of 60 bedtime stories covering all five characters and all age groups. These stories are bundled with the app and available without any internet connection.

On supported devices (iPhone and iPad with Apple Intelligence), the app can also generate unlimited new stories on demand using on-device AI. Each generated story is unique and saved to your local story library.

Yes, DynaStory works entirely offline. The app contains no networking code at all. Both the curated story library and the on-device AI story generation work without an internet connection. Stories, settings, and progress are stored locally on your device.
